Never Again!!! 15 minutes after leaving my wife and I needed a place to evacuate our bowels. Not because we wanted to, but because our bodies were like, "Nope, not in me you don't dump this filth." We almost didn't make it. If you've ever done a colon cleanse... yeah, it was like that. Still feeling yucky, I fell asleep and woke up an intense vomit flavor hanging on my breath. My stomach is still in knots the morning after. It is like my mouth and my butt are playing tug-o-war with my stomach.

The food is eh. The service is worse. I mean they ran out of spoons... what sort of a restaurant runs out of spoons? My water was empty the entire time. One of the servers was high. I know because the wait staff said, "He's high," in very annoyed and concerned voices.  And there was a surprisingly large number of children present as well.

I am staying in Ogden for ten days and my hotel is close to Roosters. I've eaten there twice in as many days. For lunch I had a southwest salad with fried chicken on top. Decent salad, no complaints. Had their Pilsner and that was good.  The service was prompt and not needy. I was seated outside and the weather was perfect for being outside. It also had three Pokéstops that I could reach (if you care about that). Ogden is expensive to eat out and I'm from Alaska where food is shipped up and we pay for that in the cost. That being said, if I'm going to pay a premium price I want comparable food. That salad was not worth what they charged.
Now, dinner. I had the chicken Milan (?) it came with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The chicken was ok, the broccoli was cooked just right. Then came the mashed potatoes. It tasted as though they were cooked with dishwater, my guess is they were the day before or even more. The server was awesome and asked if she could have the kitchen remake the mashed potatoes, I declined and asked if there was a rice side. She gave me a few choices, one was green rice. I opted for that. It was brought out promptly in a hot dish, I suspect that rice was microwaved.
It's a shame, the restaurant is in a great area and is super cute with the great patio. Their beer is ok, I didn't try anything but the Pilsner. The service I received was great, both servers were on time and pleasant. One thing I did notice is some employees gathered around the front register and were openly gossiping about the management, other employees, scheduling, etc.
Maybe it's the time of year and they are ramping down, who knows. The quality shouldn't decline from season to season. I won't eat there again, the shirts are cute, though.

Hit up the patio seating if it's open - so cute!
We ordered just appetizers here with a pitcher of their pale ale.
Cheese curds were delicious that comes with two dipping sauces. Since we were their for brunch we went for the Kailua waffles. They were tasty but probably won't order again. They did have French Toast so I'll likely try that next time I'm in the neighborhood.
    Service was great!

I come here a lot when I go down to 25th St. I really enjoy trying their different craft beers, they're naughty fries are really good too they have a pretty good menu and the staff is always good, I said at the bar a lot and just enjoy the conversation with some of the people around me and enjoy the overall seen as 25th St. has a pretty good scene. I will definitely be going to roosters a few more times many more times as I really enjoy drinking their craft beers in the overall scene.
